Remote Host Identification Has Changed

17 03 2009

Kmrn pas lg iseng main2 dari server router ke server proxy Linux via ssh nemu ky gini nih:
[root@router ~]$ ssh bos@192.168.1.2
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that the RSA host key has just been changed.
The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is
ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
Please contact your system administrator.
Add correct host key in /home/root/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this message.
Offending key in /home/root/.ssh/known_hosts:3
Password authentication is disabled to avoid man-in-the-middle attacks.
Keyboard-interactive authentication is disabled to avoid man-in-the-middle attacks.
X11 forwarding is disabled to avoid man-in-the-middle attacks.
Permission denied (publickey,password).
[root@router ~]$

Solusinya adalah menghapus direktori .ssh di /home/root (disni saya login sbg root maka sesuai kan dgn /home anda)
[root@router ~]$ rm -rf .ssh/
Setelah itu, coba lg SSH nya, maka tidak ada warning ky gt lg…. 😀

Hal ini terjadi krn kompi yg kita pakai hanya mengenali satu IP beserta MAC Address ke tujuan, jd bila anda pernah mengganti LAN card di kompi tujuan maka akan muncul lg warning sperti diatas… Utk info lbh lanjut bs anda baca warning diatas knp hal ini bs terjadi 😀
